Jumping for JoySunday Morning Routine:  Nursery Care

Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers from 9am - 12:15 pm. Caring, experienced childcare is provided by our amazing staff, Crystal Arispe and Rachel Moen. Parents and guardians are asked to supply labeled bottles and diapers for their child.

Religious Exploration Classes

Preschool to 8th Graders:

Children and youth begin each Sunday in the Sanctuary at 11:00 am. They participate in A Time for All Ages for about ten - fifteen minutes, and then they are “sung out” to their respective classrooms. The Religious Exploration Greeting Team Member at the Sign-In Table will be able to tell you where the children start, or you can consult the electronic sign in the foyer for that information. Classes end at 12:15 am.

9-12th Graders:

Together with adult youth advisors, experience an original curriculum which focuses on spiritual growth, empowerment, and community service (e.g. Urban Peak 3rd Saturday of every month).  In addition, our fabulous youth group will be contributing two inventive Youth Worships throughout the year!

High schoolers may sign up to participate in various church committees and to be involved in worship, if desired. Please see Eric Bliss, DRE, for further information about these amazing opportunities.  There are also prospects for our youth to join the larger Unitarian Universalist community and form lasting friendships with like-minded individuals by participating in district conferences and interchurch events. You can find out more about these offerings by going to the Mountain Desert District's website.
