On Wed August 16th Ingrid will return to the Jefferson County Courthouse to continue her case. Winning at this level will open new avenues of possible immigration relief.  We ask that the court process to determine whether her legal representation was sufficient be allowed to proceed in a fair and just way, without interference or pressure from immigration. We anticipate this to be an all day hearing and ask people to come and be with us in two shifts.

After the Service on Sunday in the Sanctuary, bring your empty bags, backpacks, purses, briefcases, pencil cases, art portfolios, and diaper bags to receive a blessing in a short ceremony as we begin a new season of transformation!  All ages are welcome to participate, even without a bag.  Join us for this ritual celebrating the new beginnings, hopes, and intentions that come with a new school and church year.

They’ll refurbish them and put them to good use. The risers in the sanctuary have also found a new home, but won’t be leaving us until this fall.
