Whether it is a small group meeting or a large wedding First Unitarian has room for you. Located in the heart of the old Capitol Hill neighborhood our historic building has a modern interior with large open spaces that can accommodate classroom configurations as well as elegant receptions. An elevator provides accessibility for all to every floor of our facility. Our rental rates make having your function in a useful, inviting and affordable space. Discounts are available for larger functions and nonprofit organizations, please email the First Unitarian office for availability and details.
The largest room in the building has seating for 250. A grand piano and professional sound system make this room perfect for large presentations. $115.50/hr.
Community Room and Kitchen
Located on our main floor this large open room has tables (round and rectangle) to seat 120. For functions that don't require seating the community room will stand 200 people. The kitchen has plenty of counter space, commercial grade stove, and large volume coffee maker. $99.75/hr.
A large rose window dominates this open room that seats 50 and stands 90. There is an upright piano in the Chapel making this a great rehearsal space. $52.50/hr.
This informal room is located on the lower level but has large exterior windows making bright and airy. A 65" high definition TV is available and makes movie viewing easy and fun. 35 people fit comfortably in our version of the classic recreation room. $52.50/hr.
Filled with couches and with an exposed stone wall our sitting room is perfect for small discussion groups of 8 or less. $26.25/hr.
First Unitarian has six rooms of various sizes that accommodate 7-15 people. $31.50/hr. each
The kitchen is fully equipped with china, eating utensils, glassware, and table linens. Use of these items is included in the rental of the community room and/or kitchen. Secured wireless Internet is available as well and LCD projectors and screens for additional fees.
Note: Being an inner city church and for the safety and security of all of our guests we require a non-negotiable Facilities Management Fee of $20.00/hr be added to any rental agreement. There will be a representative of the church present to be of assistance for your event.
